The element of surprise is a thin slice of jalapeno, which also happens to add a punch of color contrast and a little spicy note. The sweetness of the mango is a perfect contrast to the fizz of the Prosecco. My sparkling mango cocktail with Prosecco is a funky fusion of old and new world. ![]() If you'd like to prep this ahead of time, combine all juices and store in the fridge. Add ice cubes, lime slices, and mint sprigs if desired. However, I thought that creating a prosecco cocktail would be a fun and exciting way to enjoy this bubbly beverage. Instructions Pour mango, pineapple, and lime juices into a large pitcher. But, if you happen to be a purist, by all means, don't mix it with anything. Think fruit juices, spirits, or garnishes. You can enjoy Prosecco in so many different ways. I actually just tried Prosecco very recently. ![]() It's a neutral grape, that grows well in a temperate climate. This variety of grape is thought to be of Slovenian origin, and was at some point in time taken to Italy. The grape used to make this bubbly beverage is the glera variety. Like it's more expensive cousin it's a sparkling wine from a specific region, namely the Veneto in Northeastern Italy. It is actually very affordable, that is why I've made it my go-to summer drink. What is Prosecco? Riondo Prosecco is bubbly like Champagne, but without the price tag. Today my sparkling mango Prosecco cocktail is what's on tap to unwind after a hard week or day at work. For me, part of the summer experience is coming up with new and fun cocktails to share with friends and family. It's time to share with friends and kick back. Summer is time for leisurely gatherings on the deck or patio. Ah summer, please don't go, you are my favorite season. ![]()
